


Miles for Ahmaud
As I was mulling over how to indulge in a sliver of public space—and do so safely—Ahmaud Arbery had already run his last mile, trying to navigate the same landscape. In his own town, as he ran through its neighborhoods asking only to be treated as a neighbor, he was shot dead. There was not enough space for him. There is never enough space.

This is stewardly
My hope is that stewardly can be the sort of place where sincerity roams, unimpeded by the rugged individualism that keeps telling us we do not need each other and that others do not need us. I pray that this can be a forum free from cynicism. I hope we can make community here.

No Room to Waste
This is the official music video for “No Room,” brought to you a full 2 years later. In sharing it, I hope to put to bed this part of the path and move forward. I hope to do this with a better understanding of maintaining momentum, minding the method, and making room for more.
